Sparkling Pools: This is a hot climate that we live in and sparkling pools are a great luxury to have. Most apartment communities have pools for use, but always be sure and double check with the agent.
Lush Courtyards: Courtyards are a visual bonus of any apartment community. Without them, a community looks stale and bland without much life at all. They provide a pleasant atmosphere outside of your apartment and a place to gather together for barbecue's and picnics.
Media / Entertainment Rooms: Some apartment communities have a communal media or entertainment room located either in a stand alone building or more often, within the lobby of the office. Depending on the community, they may be freely accessed or by appointment.
Intrusion Alarms: Intrusion alarms in individual apartment units are a big bonus for many Houstonians. Coupled with a gated community, intrusion alarms provide an even greater sense of security.
Fitness Center: Fitness centers are huge bonus' to people looking for an apartment. They provide ease of use as well as convenience of location to those seeking to improve their health conditions through exercise.
Dry/Steam Saunas: Sauna's are a good way to relax after a long day's work. They are not as common in apartment communities are other amenities are but are often asked for by our customers.
Valet Trash Service: Valet trash service goes above and beyond normal trash service. Instead of carrying your garbage to the dumpster for the weekly pickup, valet trash service only requires that you leave your trash outside your apartment door.
Oval Garden Tubs: Oval garden tubs provide scenery to apartment communities and give a sense of serenity around your residence.
Washer and Dryers: If you have your own washer and dryers, it is imperative that you ask for an apartment with hookups for them. If you do not own a washer and/or dryer, many apartment communities offer on-site laundry mats, be sure to ask your agent about the apartment community you are interested in!
Playgrounds: Playgrounds give the kids a place to go play nearby. A place that parents can watch their children and feel safe knowing they are close by. This is a must for those customers of ours who have younger children.
Community Clubhouse: Community clubhouses offer a place to hold birthday parties and other activities that may be too much for your apartment. They are usually booked by reservation with the front office.
Volleyball / Tennis / Basketball Courts: Sports courts, from volleyball and tennis to basketball, offer a place of recreational activity right outside your doorstep.
